Dan Osborne - Micro Hero - is raising money for a well known charity due to a personal loss during 2010, if you're able to please donate some money to this worthy cause. The below is taken from Dan's post on UK Micro RC Forum tonight:
"One of my best friends Ty Partridge passed away to leukaemia just 5 months a go at the age of 21, in aid of CLIC and for Ty we are cycling 1,000 miles to Paris and back for August the 21st! We've given ourselves 2 weeks to complete this in so should be a pretty big challenge, we're looking to ride 80 miles a day
There's seven of us doing it and it should be a pretty awesome experience. I've put this up for anyone that would like to follow our progress on Facebook or donate to the cause. We're aiming to raise £2,000! 100% of the money donated will be going straight to charity, we will be arranging where we are staying out of our own pockets
